Bookshelves

Bookshelves! We’re all spending a lot of time indoors these days, so while we’re cooped up why not get organized. To be perfectly honest, it’s hard to focus on much besides family during times like these. I’d like to see this blog as an outlet for many of you and maybe you won’t be ordering a new étagère this week, but creating design plans for spaces can serve as a distraction and help prep for projects you want to tackle when this is all over.

Bookshelves, étagères, bookcases, etc are a great way to stylishly showcase your belongings while filling that empty wall space. And since shelves can be found in almost any room of your home they play an important role in the design plan. They can complete a space whether its framing either side of the television or adding interest to a bare corner of dining room. Since they come in all shapes, heights, and styles it’s important to take the proper measurements and know the direction you want the room to go in. I pulled together an assortment of shelf styles for you below and separated them into above and below $500. Enjoy!
